We get calls all the time asking why we don't have any new "sale items." The main reason is that each of our products are manufactured individually to order so there's rarely any excess, seconds, or left over items to go on sale. So we decided to change things up a bit and produce some items specifically for our sale page. We've also listed a range of close out or discontinued fabrics so you can still order the product you want at an exceptional discount! These fabrics are all from highly reputable companies that produce the finest quality outdoor and recreational textiles.
Volant Jacket 800+ fill w/ optional hood
A popular color with fashion forward outdoor companies and prized for its visibility, these Volant Jackets are made from a durable two layer PTFE laminate known for its wide comfort range. An ideal choice for guides or anyone else desiring a sturdier down garment.
These would typically retail for $321, but we're taking over 20% off and offering these at our nylon shell price of $235. An optional hood, regularly $54, is only $43 more. We have these in stock in medium, large and XL but feel free to inquire about other sizes. Fabric Weight 3.1 oz/sq.yd.
The micro-porous coating on the Endurance fabric is designed for breathability and water resistance. It has won high praise in reviews such as this one from Backpacker Magazine. Some manufacturers chose it for their top line sleeping bags, largely for being lighter than other WP/B fabrics. While we prefer eVENT for the much greater breathability, we have tested Endurance in our rental department for many years without receiving a single negative comment. Now the fabric is being discontinued, as Pertex has shut down their manufacturing. This may be your last chance for this fabric. Fabric Weight 1.7 oz/sq.yd.

Not the typical EPIC fabric you'll find in Feathered Friends products, this one was designed to meet U.S. military grade specifications. If you're looking for a highly durable, water resistant fabric with a soft hand this is the way to go. Specify Coyote EPIC when ordering. Fabric Weight 3.1 oz/sq.yd.

This is the same EPIC fabric we currently use, the only difference is the color. I guess we overestimated the popularity of chartreuse, neon green hi-lighter or whatever you call this... PTFE Laminate
If you saw the fabric you might recognize it, if we told you the name you'd know it, but we can't so we're calling this stuff moretex; it's more waterproof and more durable than anything else we're using. It is a bit heavier at 3.35 oz/sq.yd, but if you like to throw your down jacket in the back of your truck with your rusted chains, wet dog and muddy boots this is your fabric.
