Returns and Exchanges
For any return, exchange, warranty, or repair, please call our customer service department for a Return Authorization (RA). Any products sent back to us without a Return Authorization will not be processed. Please print the Product Return Form, fill it out, and include it with any item you send back to us.
In order to be eligible for return or exchange, a product must
- be in unused condition
- be accompanied by original receipt, tags, and any packaging material
- be returned within thirty days of receiving it.
The following items may not be returned or exchanged:
- products that have custom options (zipper changes, pattern alterations, overfill, non-standard fabrics or colors)
- sale items
We will only repair and wash Feathered Friends items.

Our Guarantee to You:
Part one
All Feathered Friends products are guaranteed to the original owner for the life of the product against defects in workmanship and materials. Rips, burns, tears, and damages due to accident, normal wear and tear, improper care, misuse or the natural breakdown of colors and materials over time are not covered by warranty, but can be repaired for a reasonable fee at our discretion. Standard products may be returned to us in unused condition with original packaging and receipt within 30 days of receiving it for an exchange or refund (minus shipping charges). Custom orders (pattern alterations, options, non-standard fabrics or colors, and other modifications) or sale items may not be returned, except for defects in materials or construction.
Part two.
Comforters and pillows must be used inside a slip cover in order to maintain warranty coverage. Normal body oils contribute to accelerated breakdown of both the cotton shell and the down. Occasional cleaning is needed for all down products. Feathered Friends offers a cleaning service for all of our products except feather beds.
Part three.
We at Feathered Friends are committed to creating gear that is durable, lightweight, and thoughtfully designed. While we strive to make durable products, it is important to realize that some of the materials we use sacrifice durability, abrasion resistance, and tear strength to achieve lighter weight. Customers purchasing products made from the lightest fabrics should be aware of the inherent limitations these fabrics have. Accordingly, customers should adapt their expectations of how products made with ultra light fabrics will perform over time to reflect their reduced durability.
If you have a warranty or repair issue with your Feathered Friends product, please follow these steps:
- Call our customer service department for a Return Authorization. We will not process your warranty or repair without one.
- Print and fill out the Product Return Form and include it with your item
- Use an insured and trackable shipping method to send us your item (UPS, FedEx, DHL, USPS Delivery Confirmation).
- Upon receipt of your item, Feathered Friends will inspect and evaluate your warranty or repair claim. If we determine a warranty claim is valid, we will repair or replace the product at our discretion at no cost. Estimates of repair costs are available upon request (see form). Customer is responsible for shipping costs.
