needs but it is also important to size the pack to your torso
and ensure the stays are contoured to the proper position for
ultimate comfort in the backcountry.

Custom Footbeds
We offer custom cork footbeds by Superfeet that can be heated
in an oven and molded to the shape of your foot. These footbeds
are perfect for ski boots, hiking boots, plastic alpine climbing
boots or leather alpine climbing boots.

Ski boot fitting
Fitting a ski boot by a real professional is a rarity. It is
vital that your ski boot accommodates your foot without any pressure
points or extra space. Pressure points can lead to swelling and
pain which can ruin your skiing experience. Too much volume can
lead to unnecessary movement inside the boot causing unnecessary
chafing, blisters or hinder the performance of your overall skiing
ability. We have a full time ski boot fitter that can work with
you one on one to help obtain the perfect fit.

Rock Shoe fitting
Rock climbing has so many different levels to choose from. Finding
a shoe that can do it all is nearly impossible. Bouldering requires
a soft sole, a tight fit and a slight curve for superior edging
ability. Alpine rock shoes require a slightly looser fit and a
much more solid last (support underfoot). Traditional rock climbing
requires a shoe that can be versatile enough to perform while
face climbing, crack climbing or slab climbing. Everyone on our
staff is experienced with climging and knows how a shoe should
fit.

Sleeping Bag Sizing
Fitting a sleeping bag is an art. Considering sleeping bags are
our bread and butter we know everything there is to know about
fitting a sleeping bag. Of course, if you were 100 lbs you wouldn’t
want to end up with the same bag built for a linebacker. We will
make sure your bag is sized for you.

or what kind of conditions to expect. We also carry an extensive

skiing, rock climbing, ice climbing, technical gear and general
mountain information .We can help you select the right book to
be schooled in the sport.
