Reservations
We allow reservations roughly one month in advance. In order to reserve you must pay for the rental in full. There is a 24 advance cancellation policy, for a full refund. With regards to sizing of boots; if you are coming here to climb a volcano and have never tried on the Scarpa Inverno plastic boots, we advise you to do so in your home town before reserving ours. Just looking out for your feet.
Late Policy
You will be charged a day's rental for each and every day you are
late, and a six pack of a decent microbrew. If you ruin someone
else's trip because you are late you must write them a formal apology
and give them a six pack too.
Cleaning, Damage,
Replacement
If you break it, you'll probably have to pay for it. It'll come out of your deposit. There is also a $30 cleaning fee if the gear returned is dirty or wet.
Deposits
Rentals are accompanied by a deposit which is in the form of a credit
card authorization or a check. Please do not use a bank card which
is tied to your checking account as an authorization puts a hold
on those funds for ten days.
Apply Rental to
Purchase
We will apply one weekend's rental towards the purchase of a similar
item. It is up to you to keep track of your paperwork.
