The Sandpiper is the simplest and lightest of our semi-rectangular bags. Great for summer use, it works equally well as a roomy bag for one, with a groundsheet for two, or as a quilt when traveling. The Sandpiper does not have available hoods. The Penguin is warmer than the Sandpiper and adds double draft flaps for a better seal (when used with a groundsheet). The Penguin also has zippered flanges for adding optional hoods. |
