The Snow Goose is the world's premier high altitude expedition sleeping bag. The Snow Goose shares many design elements with the Snowy Owl but delivers superb warmth at a lighter weight. We eliminated the second (inside) zipper and scaled back the hood and shoulder regions, but retained the efficient contoured shape that keeps full loft around the head, creating a very comfortable breathing tunnel. At only 4 lbs 2 oz, the Snow Goose is lighter than many other -40° F bags.

The Snowy Owl was designed with a fully contoured shoulder, hood, and permanent collar system which maintains full and even loft in the head and shoulder areas. A second, inner zipper running parallel to the outer zipper keeps the differential cut at a constant thickness, combined with the double draft tubes this completely seals in the warm air. The only complaint we hear about this bag is "It was too warm." That's the idea.
